MeMe and Marqi at the Fun Match

MeMe and Marqi went to an all breed fun match today to practice being show dogs. It was HOOOOTTTTT today, 90 degrees F so the girls weren't quite as on their mark as they might have been. However, they didn't do too bad. Miss Marqi has been to 2 conformation classes and has never actually worn a show lead. Despite being very butt high today, as any self respecting 3.5 month old pup might be, she figured out how to move with a show lead on.

Stacking was another story. She never did stack properly. Here we are trying to see if it could happen.

Bribery was not a good enough incentive to stack so she never actually did. However, in spite of all her naughtiness, her quality did show through and she won the Puppy Hound Group!

After the puppies went in it was time for the adults. At 13.5 months, MeMe qualifies as an adult, at least chronilogically. I will say this, MeMe stacks!

She nabbed the Adult Hound Group top spot just to make sure Marqi did not show her up. But, she had to make sure that she maintained her superiority over the little brat pup and moved her way to Best in Match!
