 Something really spooked Chopin today right at the starting line. He took the first jump ok and then just ran away. However, I yelled at him to come back and he did. So, we picked it up from the dogwalk (obstacle 2) and proceeded on. I put too much body language onto a left turn to call him off a trap jump and onto the correct one so he pulled around it. When I asked him to do the teeter he either tried to avoid the judge or he made a decision to do the A-frame and headed in that direction. He did not do the A-frame because he did listen when I called him off it and he did do the teeter when I resent him but that was enough mistakes to NQ. Plus he had a lot of time faults from the initial running away. Yesterday was definitely better than today but even with him being quite spooked over something he collected himself enough to listen to me. |
